This isn't about a label. It's about liberation.
Whether you're wondering if you may be ADHD, autistic or both - or if you already know and want affirming and effective support - you're in the right place. This page is for deep-feeling cycle-breakers, tired achievers, and neurospicy folks ready to better understand themselves, their needs, and how to build a life that fits for you.
Affirming, Evidence-Based & Tailored to You
The way we have historically understood, talked about, and even assessed for ADHD and autism has often left out women, folks of color, queer folks, and gender nonbinary and expansive folks. And I don't know if you've ever stood in a room of fellow neurodivergent humans, but that means a lot of us may be going undiagnosed and undersupported.
This page is for adults who are seeking clarity or have only recently discovered that they are ADHD or autistic in adulthood. People ask me what they are missing, why they can't keep up, or how we can use strategies to make them appear more neurotypical. And if that's you, I'm sorry the world has made you feel like your way of being and existing is wrong. It is true that in a world often catered towards neurotypical and allistic folks, we can face significant challenges. But we center our work on that key distinction. The problem is not you, but rather the stress of living in systems not made for you. We can certainly discuss strategies and support that will help you live joyfully, purposefully, and self-compassionately. But it will be from a non-pathologizing, systems-aware, and validating stance.
Some of the things we most love supporting people with are self-understanding, finding community, self-compassionate approaches to creating systems for yourself, and learning how to work with your personal ways of thinking and being.
Assessment Process
01
We'll start with a brief phone call to discuss your goals. If you and I feel my clinic is a good fit for your needs, we will schedule your first appointment.
02
In the first appointment, I will learn more about you through an in-depth interview. We will set a plan for your assessment together and determine if additional testing may be helpful. You will also be informed about the cost of such testing services up front so you can make informed decisions in your care.
03
We will complete agreed upon testing over the course of 1-3 appointments. We can approach this in a curious, collaborative and exploratory way. We personalize it to you and the things you want to learn about yourself.
04
We will meet for you feedback appointment. I take a therapeutic approach to assessment so I will take the time to talk through your results with you so that you can better understand yourself, what the findings can mean for your goals or treatment options, and give you information about resources available to you.
